We had a rehersal for the musical after school today. It was awesome. We just did a read through of the first act, but it was so much fun! When I read out my first few lines Ms PJ said I was absolutely fantastic, then nudged the music teacher and I heard her say that it was perfect and exactly what she was looking for. And as a singer (lol) I can give you some advice! It's easier to sing high than low, I'll tell you the story so it makes more sense. I really wanted to sing Somebody To Love by Queen but the high note at the beginning was really pissing me off but one day (lol) I just thought "I don't give a fuck," and I sung it, you just have to really push it up there, forget anyone else is in the room and don't worry. You'll hit it if you try hard enough. And after a while (like for me) you'll have a larger range so you can really challenge yourself!
