That physics test I've been stressing over

Sep 29, 2006 22:29

Well, the result is in. On the physics test, I got 77.38%. Not that good. Teacher said I made some careless mistakes and completely missed the point on a few questions. Oh well, I think I got about the 6th highest mark in the class anyway. Considering it's the advanced class, and the 3rd highest mark was 79.76%, I guess I can live with that. ( Read more... )

Hey, 77.38% is really good in my book. Most courses I know of have 40% as a bare pass (E) grade going up to 80% for an A - so this looks like a B+ to me - nothing to be sniffed at ;-)

But yes, if you reckon you could do better, aim to do so next time.

*hugs*

I guess so. It's just I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to tests. *sigh* I should really learn to think more positively about things. I think it equates to about a B- as our teacher is really strict and only gives A's for over 90%. Although, if I think about it, I got 100% on our major assignment for the term, so that evens things out. :)

*hugs back*

Well that's about 77% more than I woulda got on a physics test!! And it's the advanced class as well! Don't be such a muppet - that's a great score!! XD

As for simultaneous equations... they're peasy once you get the hang of them, so as long as you've got them then I expect you're safe :)

And it's the end of term already? What's your school year like then? Does it start January? Cos ours starts Sept, and the term runs until Xmas. I'm just intrigued...

Wow, that realy is different. We start in February and the term goes for 10 weeks. Then we get a 2 week break. Then term 2 goes for 10 weeks, then a 2 week break, then term 3 goes for 10 weeks, then a 2 week break, then term 4 goes for 10 weeks, so we finish about mid December and have about 6 weeks off for Summer holidays.

Our school year is September through to July (but I completely forgot that your summer=our winter.) It's September -> Christmas, with 2 weeks off at Xmas and 1 week half term at the end of October, then January -> Easter, with 1 week half term in the middle of February and 2 weeks at Easter, then from after Easter until July, with 1 week at the end of May, and then about six weeks summer holidays. If that makes sense...
