Ugh - I watched the Couric tape, and I watched Olberman's interview, and that is simply not true. I am a die-hard liberal, but I also believe in honest journalism (well, I believe in it in principle, not so much in its existence), and that just didn't happen. First, she was asked if there were any Supreme Court decisions she disagreed with other than Roe V. Wade. NOT if she could name any. She dodged the question, absolutely, in a very politician-like way, but she did not say that she couldn't name any. In fact, Olberman and one of his commentators later remarked that she had argued against a Supreme Court decision (involving Exxon Mobile, but I can't remember the name), in her role as governor. So his own broadcast argued against his conclusion that she is ignorant of Supreme Court decisions. (And, not for nothing, but I believe her answer to Couric's question about the Establishment Clause and Jefferson's intent showed a deeper understanding of the Constitution and American history as it pertains to that issue than did Biden's

It's cool, I'm not offended. I kind of don't even care about the Palin thing as much as I just saw this meme and couldn't remember very many myself, and thought about how long it was since high school American History class and figured that every once in a while we all need a brush up on what all went on in the past to make our country the way it is, and remind people that its still a pretty great place to live.
