Halloween [which I celebrated on the 30th and then again the 1st] was fabulous. Saturday, Josh and I had planned to do something with Amy and Drew, going up to Greensboro to the Mystic Carnival and then to a bar after midnight to be specific, but that got a bit twisted. Jody let me off work an hour early to get ready, so I came home and called Amy ( Read more... )

Little Matt? You make me sound like one of Robin Hood's Merry Men.

but yea, the show was great. the only thing I didn't like was that the merch was ass-expensive. I guess thats understandable though, considering their show and such... they probably all live off their merch sales.

Merry Men rock.

I will have 1000 shirts/stickers/ect. soon. Do you want me to order you that bumper sticker (the circle or the "molested my honor student" one) when I get my shirt?

Your entire post made me smile. That's so funny about the *girl* & *guy* especially. I would have died! Were you really polite to them or just rude? Sometimes if people push me over the edge, I just get plain rude. So ... are they friends of Amy's? It sounds like something you would see on a movie, and I am very intrigued :o).

Speaking of purchasing beer ... just few nights ago, Alliee's ex-boyfriend or on-again boyfriend (whatever), whom I HAVE NEVER TALKED TO IN MY LIFE, calls our house & wants to know if I could buy him alcohol (I guess he thinks I am already 21, or he was referring to Ant) ... he said Alliee told him to call us (which may be a lie) ... and I was like, "I don't think so". The NERVE! If I hadn't known he dated Alliee, he would be the equal to a complete stranger! I was so TICKED OFF. Grr.

I wasn't rude to them, but I avoided them the whole night. Josh and I kept 'walking around the check out this and that' so we wouldn't have to be around them and we always walked a few steps ahead or behind so as to not be in such close proximity. But I never called them gross or anything, even though I wanted to, because they were really eww.
It's different if someone comes up to you at a store or something and asks you to buy them beer, because then (regardless of it still being rude) they're admitting that they don't know you, but would still like a favor. When an aquaintance (a distant one at that) fucking CALLS you to do so, they're trying to play the 'I know you' card, even when they don't and it's just weird. Damn people...if it's BYOB and you're under 21, deal with it.
