...haha, that makes it sound much more terrible...but it isn't bad at all.
I changed majors, (or rather, I'm in the process of changing majors.) I talked to some of my teachers today and let them know and told them some of my opinions (very politely, but in a very blunt manner) on their teaching styles and exactly why I was quitting the program.

Good for you for being brave enough to give your major up. You sound like me when I quit graphic design. I HATED what that career was all about. And not to sound lazy, but it seemed like way too much hard work for something that was getting more boring by the day. I may be much poorer in the end, but at least I am happy & have time to spend with my family instead of this majorly intensive career! Good luck with being an English teacher, you seem very teacher-ly. :o)

aww thanks punkin!! I still love design, I always will...but school just became a pile of one too many shitty things. Plus and this really worried me it was burning me out of design. I don't want to lose that. There are lots of things that I use to LOVE and then high school burned me out on, English being one of those things, and I've recently rekindled a relationship with reading and writing that I'm quite excited about. Hopefully UNCG's English department will try to enrich that passionate flame instead of try to fucking blow it out to see if you can make it through the wind. *smiles* I have high hopes...pie in the sky hopes. Squee!
