A wild Comic-Con appears!!

Anime Expo has already come and gone... it was amazing, probably one of the funnest times I've EVER had at a con. I had been kinda losing faith in Anime cons, and I had been debating whether or not this would be (gasp!) my last Anime Expo... but after funtimes with my sisters and hubby in Artist Alley and lots of cute costumes, I can say with ( Read more... )

Oh, you're too kind xD! We're just in it for kicks this year, our costumes aren't super amazing or anything. I do hope we can pull off a good performance for the audience, though <3!!

Ooooooh, AX >.>. I'm probably only considering doing AX Masq next year because I didn't even watch it this year, so I don't have that bad taste in my mouth, lawl ... the past couple years I did see it though, and it was pretty tragic; not because of the entries, but because it was so obviously poorly run. That masquerade has definitely been in a downward spiral, which is sad because it used to be amazing D:! I always hope for the best, but when they continually pull douchey crap like they did to CBS I have to wonder if it'll ever get better = /.

But still, we have this skit idea and I can't think of a better place to perform it... oh dilemma. Why can't everywhere be like Comic-Con >F

(long comment is long, gomen xD;;)

Oh, and to add... banning CBS was about the stupidest thing AX could have done, because it's good groups like you guys that make people want to watch the masquerade in the first place. So many groups have been scared off from that masquerade (my own group included), so why would you ban one of the last "good" groups that's willing to put the time and effort into putting on an awesome show? I dunno. The more I think about it the more Fanime sounds like a good idea 8D

(Maybe after Comic-Con I'll make a post on the current state of masquerades, because I obviously have a lot to say about it ^^;;)

Yay! I go to the masquerade every year specifically to watch the Underground perform. I love what you guys cook up :)

And you had every reason to feel good about it :)

Much applause for you!! :D As I mentioned, you guys looked great from the side, and what few photos I found looked adorable from the front!

(and this is, I admit, in spite of the fact that I have yet to se Dr. Horrible myself! I blame occasional popular net hermitude ;D )
