Poetry anyone?

In a Station of the Metro

The apparition of these faces in the crowd;
Petals on a wet, black bough.

As many of you may know, this is a very popular poem by Ezra Pound.  It gives me shivers (yes, I am a literature geek!!) Random question: what color are the petals that you picture and what is the scene like?

poetry, random

Oddly enough, I see mostly gray petals. Some yellow. The scene is like an old-timey black and white painting with a light rain on the platform.
