I am the SAME exact way! I never know what to say and I can never sound sincere when I do say it.

Lui used to get on me for "not caring" about stuff that happens in the world.

I think it's because nothing REALLY serious has affected us (no one close to us has died, or anything like that) so we don't know how to comfort people who have suffered from something like that.
