While I was at work today, the shadowbox with my gold medal and my picture in it from the year we won nationals when I was in Oracle fell off my fireplace mantle and broke apart. The medal is broken, but I think I can fix it. I don't know.. it just makes me really sad. It's silly, I know, but it was one of those really sentimental gifts somebody

if you are in the cultural spirit, you could go the benjamin franklin exhibit at the nature and science museum. i thought it was pretty sweet, and its included with the 10 admission cost...just a suggestion.

sorry to hear about your step-dad. i hope he's doing better. maybe he needs to become a hermit.
art museum is a good idea. i've been thinking about doing the same. the zoo is a good place as well!
and as usual, it's spring and driving up to the mountains has been on my mind. have fund doing whatever you do.
