Yes, it's kind of late.  I'm posting it now so I won't forget tomorrow.  It's shorter than I expected, but I guess I should start getting used to expecting the unexpected.  It's angsty too.  But that was expected.  Just like the Pens losing tonight to the Leafs.  Nothing surprises me anymore.

Wow... for a short one-shot, that was amazing! I really appreciate the fact that you made it *Katara* who got the not-so-happy ending. In pretty much every jealousy fic I've read so far (including my own), it seems like it's always Zuko pining away quietly while Katara skips off with Aang into the sunset. Not that I want Katara to be sad, mind you. It's just nice to see her on the "un" side of an unrequited love story for once.

Great job!

Btw, I gave you the same review at ff.net. I'm feeling really lazy tonight, but I wanted to make sure I at least left you a review over there. ^_^

Thanks! I was actually going to make a Zuko version of it to, you know--Zuko sees Aang and Katara kiss. But I was done with that, and I though, "wow, i'm just too damn lazy to write anymore."

I loved it. Generally, I love jealousy fics with these two and this was perfect and I could totes see it happening.
Actually, when I first saw the scene when he was getting dressed, I really thought Katara would show up, but look....Mai pops out of nowhere. Oh, well.

Same here. I'm anticipating this great Zutara ending, and then Mai shows up. *facepalm*

I was kind of excluded from that experience, since I started the show already knowing who she'll end up with.
It is stupid she ended up with Aang, without so much development, but whatever, our fanon is better than their canon anyway.
