I was interested to open my IRA statement for the first time, like, ever. IT dropped below what I put in there in 2005, but I don't care. I mean, it sucks. I had a frowny moment. I woke up to my alarm, but I didn't need to get up for another hour. I got up anyway. Partly the heat was very warm when I woke up. The sunrise was pretty. I spent a lot of time with my sweetie this weekend, when I had expected not to see him much. There's a turnaround right there. It's nice. I am so busy with this class, geez. I have quite the story to tell about my weekend and my crazy boy. I have been practicing self-discipline with respect to blogging. The last chicken was dead this morning. I am sad. I feel a little guilty. I should have tried harder to catch her. I hate to tell Kayleigh. It was her favorite chicken.

I am surprisingly sad about it. It, too, seems to highlight how uncertain everything is for me. Should I get more chickens? Should I wait? for pullets?

I had a lovely sunny weekend outside of Mt. Vernon, visiting Dan's mom, step-dad, and 11 year old sister. K and the sister played well, although the girl was a little loud for my preferences. Oh yes, and I discovered that my general chemistry text books are missing. I had three at one time, and now I find none. I hate to lose the one I learned from. It isn't replacable since it is so old. darnit! I also had a text I taught from for 7 years or so, and it sucks to lose it. I knew those books well and that makes a big difference. oh well.
