I am taking a few days to visit my mother and brother this weekend. DIY, playing with cats, and dying my mum's hair! So from Thursday 30th June until Monday 4th July I may not reply to emails, comments, etc. as promptly as usual.

Have a lovely time! I can't come to the 13th as I will be away myself in sunny Cornwall (about as far away from Newcastle as its possible to get in the UK!!) .. I was particularly interested in 19th though but My friend is coming over on 18th ... I told her she's like a bus, I don't see her for 2 years and then 3 times in as many months. Not for very good reason unfortunately but hey ho :(.. ANYWAY ... It would have been good to join in not just for the expertise but for the networking/brainstorming possibilities too .. but next time, when you are in b'ham it will be much easier and less expensive for me to travel to you anyway. Hope you have a good few days.

Well you can get some networking/brainstorming at the Symingtons trip anyway :)

Maybe something will get generally organised, but we should all have a think about after the museum, allowing time for a drink/food and chat etc.

That is very true Alison! I am really looking forward to 20 August. Never been to one of these meet ups before so bit nervous but will be great to meet people. Agree with social time afterwards.
