Come to the Goldwork class at Hampton Court with me - it's in March.. There's one in January too but it's 2 days and does other stuff.

I'm very tempted you know... Yeah, Alison mentioned you were thinking of going too. Ah, maybe someone will book it for my birthday gift! Hmm, best go off and start dropping hints ;-)

Ooh, we could make a proper trip of it, search out all the corset hot spots!

Well I def want to do goldwork, and i didn't even know what silk shading was till A mentioned it down there ... and there is a combined course at Hampton court in January : http://www.royal-needlework.org.uk/courses/details/1227

as for hotspots ... very annoyingly the V&A fashion dept is closed for 2 years!! what other hotspots are there?

Not sure! I've visited a couple of the corset-carrying shops before to see what's going on in the wider market (and specifically in London) so that can be fun.

Ah, I'd love to do either course. Will give it some thought :-)

There's a two day goldwork plus silk shading course coming up next month that I'm tempted to do, but because it's two day it's of course twice the price. I'm regretting not booking on to the silk shading course now, which is on today :(

Thanks, I hope so! I'm starting to see the difference it could make for the business especially. Need to start dropping off business cards in various swish salons and such :-D
