I woke up with "the Downeaster Alexa" by Billy Joel on repeat in my brain. I haven't listened to that song in years. But now it's stuck and I can't get it out!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as we're on the subject....

at 9 months, Piper is 19.875 pounds (63rd percentile); 28.75" tall (81st percentile); and in the 16th percentile for head!!

But, Doc F was thrilled with her, so I'm a happy camper. Even if my daughter does have a pinhead :)

...and I am sad...

Once Piper was about 3.5 months old, I realized that we had a problem: she could only fall asleep with a boob in her mouth. Now, I don't begrudge ANYTHING having to do with my choice to BF my daughter, but I was seriously missing sleep. Not asking for much, just maybe a 4 or five hour stretch? It finally happened: Big Red died last night. On my way home from the doctor's office (as if my day could have gotten any worse!).
