What are you talking about? Every culinary ad spoke of 'not wanting to let even the last piece go!"

Your mystery item is called a turkey. It's not a token of worship. It's food. Most families don't fight or whatever for it. And there's other food. There's no specific clothing but it is traditional to go around the table and say what we're thankful for.

Well, yes, but a Christmas tree is only a fir outside of Christmas, so clearly this is just the turkey's all encompassing magic that exercises itself only during Thanksgiving.

Nope, that's not how it works. At all.

Are you saying the turkey doesn't have most ancient and mysterious powers?

You left out the part about being thankful for what they have, Tamaki. That's rather the point of the holiday, and where the name comes from, besides.

A~ha! You were too busy worshipping the icon of the sacred turkey to read the text properly, weren't you? Daddy specifically said, "give praise" as well, but your eyes were stuck on the plate.
