It's nice to know that there is a culture that is considered "cheaper" than Canadians when it comes to tipping :)

And I must say, that's a really interesting convo you had about Australian culture. Fascinating! I want to go to Australia quite badly one day. Anyway. Thanks very, very much for posting. :)
