I have been priviledged to work with special olympics since i was 8 when my mom went to work for them in the state office. Anyway you will love it. It really is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your time.

Daniel- I can't even process how excited I am! I've really had a passion and a burning laid upon my heart this semester and I know that working with the Special Needs community is where I am supposed to be. I am so thankful to be able to go to the Special Olympics this Summer!! I can't wait for June to get here!! Will you be there this year?

Yeah- we had classes throughout our whole lives together but then after Graduation, we kinda lost touch and then, when I walked into the room at State Day, I saw her and almost died! It was awesome! And Leadership Conference this past February was neat too because 3 of us from highschool were all on exec and all there at the conference. It's one of the funnest things when you find out that someone you grew up with is now your Sister- even if you weren't great friends back in the day and even if you don't really talk anymore, it's like a magnet that brings you together. Thats what I love about Phi Mu- the whole "National-ness" of it all- How you can meet a total stranger but if she's a Phi Mu, you share her Secrets. Ok. I'm done being a sap! HAHA
