I don't know what you have to get done at home, but two weeks seems like an awfully short time and an awful lot of money. You went off to Japan to experience that, and it's really something you've got to think about, but do whatever will make you teh happiest.

going home actually isn`t that much money, only about $500ish just not at christmas
