Getting rid of stuff

Paul & I are sorting through sheets we've been storing in the closet.  Many of them are from COLLEGE-- XL Twin sheets.  And as they drop from my hand to the donation bag, this thought process blossoms:

You've got toilet paper in your house (hopefully.) The baby birds will be fine.

If Caesar could have heard that monologue (and could talk), he would've been like, "Dude. I've got this. Don't worry about it."

Though, knowing Caesar, it might instead have been something more like "WA-CHAAAA! Wooga booga walla walla walla meezerowakeee!"

Wouldn't it be okay to use tissues or rags or cotton or socks instead? There's a really great wildlife rehabilitation center in the cities, too.

But I know the feeling. I almost talked myself into buying some powdered cat's milk and a little bottle just in case I found kittens. Never mind that I haven't found a stray kitten once in my 27 years of life so far - YOU NEVER KNOW. and by the time you need it, it will be too late to buy it! Like at 3 in the morning and the kitten is starving.
