two-thirty-four realization...

with many examples, and on many levels, and for many reasons, it is much easier for me to believe that when high expectations of people are formed, disappointment is bound to follow. there isn't much more reason for me to expand on this thought either, but never has this thought been more true to me.

I've had this thought too. But life would be boring and monotonous if all of our expectations were met or exceded...As Cy Stewart once said, "A life without expectations is a life without achievements." I don't know if that can connect to expectations we have for PEOPLE, but hey, you are one of the best people ever and should never except less than the best. :D

its is expectations that numb us from the defeating reality, a glorious world is far more appealing than a real one. As a cheesy poster in deyungs math class put it "Reach for the stars, you might not reach them but you will propably end up on the moon". ok jenny i leave you to your newfound world view of pessimis
