Yep so a week or two … doesn’t really make much difference, does it? Time goes so quickly that I’ve barely had time to sit down and relax for more than five minutes let alone update lj - though I have been bursting to get on here!

Yay, wedding planning!! :P

It's stressful and it's hardly begun yet. I had some terrible arguements with my mum in the early stages, mainly over the guest list.

I think you're thinking the right thing. You shouldn't combine your wedding with anything, it's your wedding!!

Despite the stress, I hope you're still enjoying the early stages. It's fun, honest! Just think, you get to look for a dress soon :D

You really think so? :) I'm glad, it is pretty and I love the inside of the barn, it's just whether it's really the right place for us, you know?
Oh and Sophie and her husband have three spaniels, they were there when we had a look around, they are so adorable!

I looked high and low for a barn near Cardiff for our reception but couldn't find one anywhere near us, so I'm very jealous that you even got to look at Wick Farm.

It's your wedding Luce!! As generous as it is for your parents to offer the funding, it's your day and subject to what you want.

I had a geg at Wick Farm and Prison Mill and oh my gosh so pretty!!! Well jealous!

Hehe thanks J, seriously though there are soo many places round the West that are gorgeous and perfect it's hard to choose! Though most are extortinate...
I'm hoping the penny drops soon with my parents and they realise that too. Thanks :) x

Oh, wow. That is - that is quite a towering level of self-centredness, to try and force your daughter to have her wedding on your birthday. I just. What? Why would anyone thunder-steal like that? o.O
