Thanks Steph but actually, I'm ok with things really, I know they're going to change but what or whichever way they do I'm ok because I've got Matt. :) I've always got the wedding and the thought of getting married to focus on ^_^ hehe! Hope things are well with you!x
Now you've got me wondering what else you were going to say!
Sorry life is proving to be tough at the moment, Lu. I totally know where you're coming from about earning what you do at your age, I'm on less than 16K and I honestly do feel ashamed about it. At least you have a goal, you know where you want your career to be. I have no idea what I want to do with my life and it scares me.
I don't blame you for wanting to move back to the West Country. We went to Bath yesterday and the surrounding countryside is stunning, I could imagine living there and I know Matt would like it too. He doesn't like city life at all.
Hopefully things will pick up for the both of you soon. I really hope Matt gets the job he's applied for and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you with the job you're thinking of going for.
You're not being silly at all. I always wonder if it was worth going to university and working my backside off only to end up doing the worlds crappiest job at the age of 25.
No, I've not tried any questionnaires but I think I'll give it a go.
I'd love to move to the country, I've always wanted to. I've said for years that I'm not a city girl at heart, I just happen to have been born in one. It's a shame that houses in the country are so expensive! I think the dream is a long way off at the moment.
Ohh, no ones ever told me they've dreamt about me (other than Matt or my parents) before! If you're ever in my neck of the woods and want to go out for dinner just let me know!
Aww thanks Chell, I'll give you a bell whenever we are :) I have a lot of people in my dreams, I have crazy, elaborate dreams. It really was a very pretty cottage we were in ...
I know what you mean, everything back home is so expensive! It'll cost us £700pcm+ to rent anywhere half decent at home. *Sigh* I think my dream of a home in the country will be a dream for a very long time to come.
I actually found the questionnaire thingy on the prospects site quite useful ... and accurate.
there is nothing to be ashamed of to be in temporary work still... at your age? you're still so young! the hardest part is trying to force yourself to swallow it, you finish school with huge dreams of where you see yourself in five years. trouble is, there's no straight line to point b. and you don't have to swallow it, you just need to follow the curvy path, meet new people, and see exactly how many doors there are. some go the wrong way, some follow a twisty path. it's wonderful to have someone by your side who understands you and takes these steps with you in mind. you'll find your dream job, just follow your heart.
