I finally saw the Star Trek movie

I know, I'm like the last person in the United States, or at least on LJ, to see the movie. :P My verdict? It is the best movie I've seen in a lonnnnnng time. It had just about anything I could want in it. I loved it, and I haven't laughed that much in a theater since I saw the second Austin Powers movie. I have no urge at all to participate in the fandom or write fic or see the Star Trek TV series or...anything. That is so weird.

I...just didn't see any chemistry with Kirk except "oh hai we're going to be buddies someday" stuff. I mean, their snark was pretty awesome, but...no slash? D:

OH I LOVED THAT MOVIE TOO. And I have no inclination to join Trek fandom either... except that I totally ship Kirk/Spock but yeah. x)
