Well, yeah. This is a response (that I did not make up, I should clarify that) to a very specific "gay rights are AWESOME!" meme that's been going around everyone's flists. Survey memes are not that.
Yeah. The "Pass it on" memes are retarded. Not to mention that my law class training is all like "Yo. You can't do that. Lack of response can not be interpreted as an affirmation of a statement."
Yeah, but the wording of it? "We would like to see who truly believes in gay rights on Livejournal... If you don't believe in gay rights, ignore this." Being guilt-tripped into copy-pasting something is not really a good measure of your passion for gay rights. Plus, I already know my friends care about the issue; if they didn't, they wouldn't be my friends.
