ARGH

It's funny how when you go looking for stuff for costumes, you discover that things you remember seeing all the time NO LONGER EXIST. I went through like 94365749 billion stores today looking for some brown gardening gloves so I could make Freddy Krueger's claw glove thing and NOTHING. I found gardening gloves of every other colour and style, but ( Read more... )

this is a conspiracy

Freddy Krueger claws FTW. I love that evil man so much (freak) but that's lame, why no brown gardening gloves world? (Have you seen alll of the movies? Some of them are so cracktastic!)

SOMEONE TALK ME OUT OF SPENDING ALL MY MONEY.
I'm definitely not the person to do this, I spent $50 on Ironman headphones. I didn't even need new ones but WHO THE FUCK CARES, ITS FUCKING IRONMAN. Obscure merchandise is obscure :)

I now possess 100 COLOURED BALLS.
EPIC. And nice idea, I can't wait to see the pictures - your about 100x more creative with a camera than I ever was.

I haven't seen any of the movies, actually D: I KNOW, I KNOW. I totally will one day. I'm trying to make his costume for a uni project, but NO GLOVES = NO JOY.

SJKDFHAKJSD FUCKING IRON MAN HEADPHONES. I WOULD BUY THOSE IN A HEARTBEAT. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY EXISTED AND NOW I WANT A PAIR.

I couldn't think of anything else to do with 100 coloured balls. THERE ARE NO OTHER APPLICATIONS, OTHER THAN PUTTING THEM ALL OVER MY FLOOR AS A HAZARD TO ANYONE WHO MIGHT COME INTO MY ROOM.

YOU SHOULD. I TOTALLY HAVE THE BOX SET AND ROBERT ENGLUND'S BIOGRAPHY BECAUSE I LOVE HIM. Not Freddy okay, maybe a little bit, Robert obviously.

I got them from Truffleshuffle. I went to the site for the Pulp Fiction 'Bad Motherfucker' wallet and Ironman 'my boyfriends abs are made of steel' tshirt and ended up overspending thanks to these epic babies. (Shipping's a bitch and its all waaayyy over priced but I'll let you know if they really are epic when they arrive)

\o/ obviously. That is the only logical use for 100 coloured balls *nods*

PS. Who's going to be the biggest nerd on the morning commuters train? THIS GIRL.

Erm, inspired by this post, guess what I've just ordered? I blame you!

I found vols 1 & 2 on Amazon second hand for 25 quid inc international p&p, or it's here for 37 with free worldwide postage - don't know if that helps?

Haha, awesome! :D You'll have to let me know how amazing they are when they arrive!

Cheers for the link :D I think Amazon is the cheapest for me, $87 for the first two vols (including shipping, which is like $20, ugh!). Unfortunately I can't get it second hand, because they don't let sellers ship heavy books internationally it seems ): But that's still better than the $150 they charge elsewhere!

That book looks kind of amazing. I want it! I really need to buy my own copies of Sherlock Holmes- I've been reading my friends, and I just have to get my own so I can put a million post-it notes on every page with something awesome or ~*~significant~*~ on it.

Yes, definitely buy the books! They're pretty cheap :D The only annoying thing is that it's REALLY HARD to get a collection of *everything* without buying 903458349085340 books. Currently I've got a big hardcover copy with the original illustrations (which I inherited) which is LOVELY but it's only like.. half of the stories. So then I've got a little handy version that I can stuff in my bag, which is Part I of the ENTIRE collection - but I cannot find Part II ANYWHERE. It's insane. And then I've got the copy of Hound of the Baskervilles I bought today. But His Last Bow and everything after that.. haven't got it. So at least if I buy the super expensive set I'll finally have EVERYTHING!

YOU NEED TO GO TO LONDON RIGHT NOW AND VISIT THE HOLMES MUSEUM! GO GO GO!

AND HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET 100 COLOURED BALLS?
... and I think that after you've tried killing a rainbow clad Teloka with them you SHOULD put them on your floor.

also, look what glorious things I found in the toy store when buying candy

the kid with the wonky knees wants YOU!

HEY YOU guess where I am. DP1. you bet it's exciting.

Amazon is *slightly* cheaper than there. but being Amazon it'll probably take 49496390989045 years to ship D: Stillll. Saving money. Cheers for the link though :D

HARR. i'm just chillin', getting breakfast.

amazon scares me. and idk what their shipping prices and such are like normally. but well, generally, for anything else anyway, go there (:

haha darn you

Amazon's shipping is fucking insane (like.. $20), but usually their actual book prices are a lot cheaper than anywhere else. So it usually works out a bit better than other places. But their stuff seems to take really crazy times to be delivered, like once I had a book in two weeks and another time I had to wait over a month.
