I... feel like I haven't even stopped moving for a week. Art direction is fun but it's made me so so busy. I spent like 8 hours painting flats (gigantic wooden backgrounds, basically) yesterday with some folks from uni, and when I got home I had these massive dark circles under my eyes. It looked like I'd been punched, haha. We filmed today, though

Ellen is Canadian. I really don't get why they need another Jane Eyre and certainly not one that is so poorly cast. I suppose Michael will be all tortured and useless, that's why I love Toby because he was a fun Rochester so you could see why Jane was so torn and thus understand how moral and good she was to resist.

I think I'm going to give the film a shot, but I totally agree that there doesn't need to be any more remakes of it - especially after the last one! Toby *was* a fun Rochester. I think sometimes people forget that he's not just DARK AND BROODING AND BYRONIC and that actually he has quite a sense of humour, and on top of it all he's very charming.
