[ A last minute call and next thing Sakura knows, her mother drops her off much earlier than usual at the school grounds, hair tousled, outfit hastily put on. Something about an emergency at work, but at the moment the girl was too drowsy to tell the details for certain. One bathroom trip, brush of the hair, and face rinse later, (ended up snoozing for a time in front of the mirror) she's back to her senses more, and proceeds back to the front of the school, having realized she dropped her pencil case on the way in.

It's not the sound of tires screeching, but the tar stench that has her startled, and after grabbing hold of the case on the floor, she looks up in the general direction of the commotion, a dazed, but confused look on her case. A new aroma starts to fight the tar, that of coffee, which at once sets off the alarm in her stomach. Green eyes search the area for source instinctively, and widen as she locks onto a pair of darker ones. ]
