That is if you believe in the idea that we have any such thing as free will and choice at all. I think you need more existentialist reading....

well, if there is no choice then all forms of enslavement and abuse are justified and accepted. I don't think I'd ever want to admit to living in such a world so I'll cling to the idea of choice even if it is an illusion.
