On the subject of photography, I have followed pne's suggestion and started a new photo journal right here on LiveJournal.

The user name is neatsliceoftime. Go ahead and add it to your friends list. I'm hoping to post one (640×480) picture a day.

To those who are interested in the technical details, it is a Basic account and the images are currently being hosted

If by "shared account" you mean what I call "shared journal", to the best of my knowledge you have to convert a personal journal to a community first before you can then convert it to a shared journal, and conversion to a community account is only possible if the journal has no entries.

So if you're going to go that way (which I'd recommend -- saves you from having to log in or post as a different user), best to do it now while you only have one entry to delete and re-post.

You might want to consider making it a closed community rather than a shared journal, though, since I think the tools for managing accounts work better for communities than for shared journals.
