Gaming again, after all this time...

The GM for this based the campaign loosely on Dragon Age (which, out of our group, only he and one other of our party have played) and our team consists of three:

A human wizard, who prefers to stand back and let his staff do that attacking - not surprising, given our low level. His name was Jost (rhymes with toast) but after joining a certain gray organization, changed it to Ghost.

Next member of the group is a dwarf templar (treated as a paladin for our purposes) who uses a greatsword to good effect, and can't join the aforementioned grays due to immunity to diseases magical and otherwise. She was sent out to join some other organization by her clan, but they didn't care enough to let her, so she tags along with the wizard. Her player is the other one who's played Dragon Age out of our group.

The final member is a dwarf-made free-willed golem who was once a dwarf. His name (because I was stuck in Kingdom of Loathing mode at the time) is Crys-Rock (short for Crystallized Rock.) The golem has seen better days, having been stuck under a cave-in for a century or so. Boredom and madness meant most of his skills were forgotten, as well as the means to control him. Things he does remember: how to hit things hard - with his fists. (Martial-arts golem?! Yes. And he's pretty weak for a golem, too. Things got convoluted.) Thusly, he serves his clan (none of them his own actual descendants, unfortunately) by choice. His current mission: to watch over and defend his great-to-the-somethingth niece while she does her thing here up on the surface. He doesn't make choices for her, but follows along and makes sure she's okay.

Crys also defends the wizard, since she seems to be taking her cues from him, since it's that or go back home early with her stated mission a technical failure. Also, she still gets to fight the Blight up here, so that's okay.

Our first mission for the grays was to clear out some cave which supposedly held minor foes. How this went will be written up later.
