I just worked 20 days straight. I'm taking a three day weekend. I don't care that there's no one scheduled to work tonight. I'm tired. I'm sick. I need a break. I'm not setting foot outside the apartment until Tuesday.

They work themselves like dogs, and they expect everyone to do it as well. Except, we don't OWN the business, therefore it's not prudent for us to do that. :)

Don't get me wrong, I like working there a lot- and I'm not afraid of lots of hours and hard work. Besides, I've got a great strategy. I just won't answer the phone. Because when you think the 28th is really the 20th, it's time for a break.

Cathy, who's apparently not leaving yet, but going down to part time hours, left me a voicemail message saying Gyme was throwing a fit because I wasn't there and she didn't understand that I wasn't supposed to be. I think they called from their cell phone too, LOL. They were trying to get me to regularly do six day work weeks too. Told them no of course.
