Hope you're feeling 100% very soon! :-)

We also use the terms "Hen Party" or "Cluck Fest" to denote any general gathering of women for a purpose, such as a bridal or baby shower, a woman's birthday party with only other women invited, etc., as well as a bachelorette party. They all have their true names, of course, but as a generic term for any totally female gathering we'll use "hen" and it's variant forms as a reference.

Well, that's interesting to know. Whereabouts do you live? (I checked your profile, but it didn't say.)

I live in WI, and 100% believe you, but have never heard those phrases myself.

Kinda like how we often use "bubbler" here to refer to a drinking fountain, and people from even just one state over will ask "A what?!" LOL

No, it's not. But what I didn't realise was that there's static poles and rotating poles - I found the rotating pole much easier to do a lot of the moves on!

yeah, I could see a rotating pole to be easier on the hands!! Skin doesn't slide so well on metal, eek!
