Thank you! I'm just so relieved and pleased that he liked it. The silence did have me slightly worried as I thought it unlike him not to have mentioned it (not that I know the man personally, of course - but you know what I mean) and it had crossed my mind that maybe the lack of mention was because he thought it very sweet and all, but loathed the watch we chose! LOL!

Oh don't get too worried about silence. I know from experience that oftentimes they flat out just forget or don't have the time to say something, and the silence isn't at all that they don't like something. And if brought to their attention by a 3rd party who has nothing to do with it, oftentimes the artist is horrified that they forgot and fall over themselves apologizing. Even if an artist doesn't like something they'll still say something because a fan took the time to send it to them and think of them. Not that this is the case with the watch, he made it a point to say he wears it, so I'd believe that he does if he said so.
