Woke up two hours ago because I was up till the early hours watching Maurice which was cripplingly slashy. Hugh Grant snogging some blonde bloke. With references to Oscar Wilde. An interesting film but so interesting I fell asleep at 3am despite giggling madly at various moments.

Plus there's an Audrey Hepburn tv film on now with Will from Will ( Read more... )

The blonde bloke in Maurice is James Wilby. I think above all I prefer Rupert Graves (Alec Scudder) though. You should read the book by E. M. Forster, it's even better than the movie -- although the movie is an extremely faithful adaptation with few changes. It's a great read. He actually wrote it around 1917, but only circulated it among some friends (for obvious reasons), and after he died in the 60s or 70s the manuscript was discovered with a note attached saying "Publishable, but worth it?" Very worth it. :)

i quite liked teh matrix, was cool except for the very last bit of the ending...but i still think it's worthwhile just for the bit in the hole in the ground with agent smith (trying not to spoil *too* much ;P)
