so I know everyone's posts lately have been about this but I'm gonna say it anyway so nyeh. I did watch the inauguration on Tuesday. It was amazing. The attendance estimate at the last inauguration was about 300,000. Estimated attendance at this one, 2 million. And that's just the people that stood in the freezing cold, that's not counting all

I agree that all the antibacterial hand gels and stuff have weakened our resistance to viruses and left us vulnerable as viruses evolve, but the US population is actually starting to level off a bit (blame birth control, more women in the workplace, whatever). And it's actually decreasing in some European nations. It's the 3rd world countries where the population is booming, the countries least able to support its populations (least likely to use hand gel, too).
