I really have a thing for De-aged!Dean, as he's for once the one who needs to be taken care of and Sam has to step in and be as great as your Sam in this fic. if you sum that to Dean's memory of hell (I know I'm a bad person, but I love when we explore more of that) and Sam looking through the pics, notes and all the stff that Bobby has kept from their childhood (cause Bobby is just as awesome), I'm done.
Great job, wonderful story, would love to read more of this!

Came here through a rec on rocksalt_recs. Oh my gosh, this was a terrible heart breaker, just tore my heart to bits. There's so much here, so much back story in Dean's behavior and so much pain. The idea that a little boy might have adult Dean's memories is terrifying.

This was an excellent read, thanks so much for sharing this.

Also here via rocksalt_recs. I love how you've captured Season 4 Sam here, all that frustration and pent up anger with Dean, and even less of a place for it all to go with Dean being only 5 years old. So keeping it in Sam's POV works really well, as he gradually realises what is going on in his vulnerable baby brother's head. It gives it that much more impact.

I am such a Sam apologist where season four is concerned, because as much as pretty much 100% of his actions piss me off, his motivations are so painfully Sam and I just...oh, Sammy.
