Like, wow. There is so much that is good about this (including the french fry in the milkshake: why is that so sibling-like and yet so sinister to me at the same time? idek), but the way you've managed to weave in all of these tiny little bits of canon in a way that makes so much SENSE is incredible. And it's not just the details: the characterization is so, so excellent, because it's so uncomfortably close to canon. Dean and Sam read like--themselves, but tilted a few degrees in the wrong direction. If that makes any sense. Also there's a ton of good serial killerness here and it's really exciting my serial killer nerd and yeah ALSO JOHNNY CASH AND 'NAM UGH LET ME DIE HAPPY
