This is also the year that I've finally given in and bought Oxfam Unwrapped presents for everyone on my list- coincidence? Should anyone ever find themselves in the sad position of wanting to buy me something, I would be much much happier with something along these lines as I am lucky enough to be able to afford most things as I need them and tend ( Read more... )

My Gran was concerned about how she'd get the schooldesk from her house to the post office as she thought Oxfam delivered it to her to send to Africa. Loved the fact she would have been happy to pay a fortune in postage.

Thank god I didnt get her the goat!

Ha :) My grandparents got me a goat- I'd hate to think of the look on the woman who runs the local Post Office if I brought one in...

It's definitely an Oxfam one, it came from the other set :) If it was a sheep, I'd be thinking along the same lines as you...

When I leave my placement school I am getting them a 'Train A Teacher' gift even though it costs £27. :-)

Pretty sure it started life as a teacosy, but yeah. Boredom is a terrible thing.

I haven't been in weeks, and have been neglecting the gym too :(

Busy, mostly! My fondest wish right now is a holiday in the sun with a big pile of books and nothing constructive to be getting on with.
