My mother and I, in watching the news the past couple of years, have noticed an alarming number of people who get kidnapped and murdered by psychomaniacs. We were discussing it, and we figured out that the problem is, people are afraid of knife- or gun-weilding psychos.

So, we came up with the following list.

Ah here's justice for you. In the UK if a man breaks into your house and you push him down the stairs in self defense you will be arrested and charged. He can also sue you for damages.
Even if a burgular cuts his hand or slips while doing a robbery they can successfully sue for compensation.

That sucks. Dumb UK laws. I knew there was a reason we fought for independence!

In Utah, if a guy's trespassing on your property, you can legally shoot him. :D
