That fear of being imprisoned is real. In 2002, a Green Party member tried to fly within the US. He was detained, strip-searched, and later told that Greens were suspected terrorists and were not allowed to fly that day.
Yeah, other than Lieberman, Kerry was the worst one we could have possibly picked. I have no idea why they did it. Democrats say "I want the candidate that has the most support and can beat Bush" without stopping to think that the candidate with the most support isn't always the best candidate to run against the president. Democrats are morons.
