It kind of sucks to come home and find out that you cannot make yourself a turkey and cheese sandwich on rye because you don't have the finances.  Had to buy Mister Moo (one of many nicknames for canine) biscuits with my own money and fill up Dad's gas tank because we don't have the money for that either...not to mention paying bills, mortgage, etc
