There was a oddly colored egg-like object in my helmet this morning, and another one in one of my boots.

....I don't trust eating food if I didn't kill it myself or get it from someone trustworthy.

Actually...I did, but turns out I don't need them anymore. I got enough. It nearly cost me my life, but I still got them.

You could try giving them to Faye Valentine. She's trying to collect them and she's willing to trade for them. Maybe you could get something you need.
