Glory to the brave.

kill and kill won't do much good.

Glory only comes to those who die on the battlefield.

I would much rather have my enemies know exactly whom they are up against or dead. Fear can come to even the most arrogant of men.

I call bullshit on this and raise you a bullcrap. Glory also comes to a woman who dies during childbirth.

So you kill your enemy again and again and again. They die and come back. Soon they get bored of you killing them. It becomes mundane and routine.

A woman who dies during childbirth is not strong enough and neither is her child. There is no glory in that.

Death is death. When a man dies, he is dead. That's all there is to it. And even if he did come back? My spear would be more than happy to pierce him again.

An army?

Well, that's a new idea.

Obviously. I haven't seen any proper defenses in this place since I have arrived.

I think... well, there are quarrels here, but we've never had an actual war. That would mean everyone working together, and that doesn't come easy to this lot.

I have the utmost confidence that it can be done, milady. They just need a bit of...persuasion is all.

I have been scouting for soldiers as well, I hope that this time we will have more luck then my previous attempt.

This has been done a couple times before but nobody really got anywhere with it....I'm not knockin you but how are you gonna do it differently?

spartan_blood April 2 2007, 00:20:55 UTC
You obviously don't know Spartans. Sometimes it takes two great leaders instead of one to rally the people.

The first one had more than one leader and yeah they knew how to fight something kinda of like samurai but they only got as far as organizin us into groups....the second one didn't even really get that far.

Persians, I see. Persians hardly master the art of combat...they are all slaves, nothing more.

Groups? ....That is hardly an army, my friend.

Leonidas, this one is obviously mentally challenged, he will not be of much use on the battle field.

True, Octavius. Only too true.

He can be a good warrior, but as I told the Spartan he's not to touch Stan.
