I dealt with it because I couldn't just walk off the field and make myself look weak. Mom would get wind of it and I'd get an unwanted howler about it laterBut dammit, the pain afterward was something I just could NOT ignore! So here I am, at the hospital wing

Yeah. I was still playing while injured. I think the announcer said something along those lines while we were playing.

I think I'll be doing better - Pomfrey tells me that She'll let me go tomorrow if I've healed properly... meaning, if it's up to her standards.

I can understand you wanted to keep going to the finish, but pushing yourself so hard can't be good.

Well, that's a relief. Maybe I'll drop by the Hospital Wing later and see how you're doing, if you wouldn't mind Asuka.

Wolfram strolled into the hospital wing, after reading Asuka's post about ending up here when classes were over. Of course he'd gone to the game, and cheered his loudest for Slytherin...but that hadn't made a difference. Stopping at Asuka's bedside, he flopped into the visitor's chair, placing his feet on the bed, one on top of the other. "So...even though your team won, you still ended up here. You suck." Even though the words were mean, the tone was teasing.

He was laying in his bed, trying not to move too much due to Madam Pomfrey's orders. Besides, he didn't feel like getting scolded by her just because he wasn't cooperating. He was just wondering when the hell Wolfram was going to show his mug like he had promised to do so, when Wolf himself was walking down towards his bed.

He was about to raise his hand to wave when he heard Wolf's teasing comment.

"Yeah, as if crap like this hasn't happened to be before. At least I was able to stay conscious enough to be able to drag myself here. Besides, I wasn't the only one. That Natsuo guy from your house team is here, and House says that he has it worse."

Here, he tries to laugh, though he stops a little abruptly half-way through, wincing. "All I got is a one-day stop. That guy has to be here for the entire week."

The blonde boy frowned. "If your only here for today then why the hell am I here?" He growled out the sentence.

Sighing, he leaned back into the chair, he was here already...no point in leaving now. "So, what do you know about Muggle baseball? Yuuri wants to form a team and his mother is buying equiment for us over the Easter Holiday. You're joining." It wasn't an offer, more like a demand.

"You're here because you promised you'd come~ Besides, I'm not even sure if Pomfrey will be happy about how I've progressed by tomorrow. If that's the case, I might stay here for another day."

He knew she might be the worry-wart and make him stay another day. Whatever, Asuka wouldn't mind the day off from school. Then he heard his friend's question to know more about the sport... and raised an eyebrow at that.

"Baseball?" He paused for a moment, thinking back on to how his mother made him join all the different sports programmes.

"Yeah, I remember. Though for baseball, you usually need to have two teams to play against each other. The home team and the opposing, or visiting team. You use a wooden bat and ball and you hit the ball, run to a base, and wait ... well, the intricacies of the game are easily enough explained. Though that's it for the basics."

He paused. Did Wolf say what he thought he said?

"Wait. I'm joining? What do you mean by that?"

Heh, I didn't want to be the weakest link in our team, not when we were playing against Slytherin. And yeah, I saw that you were targeted as well. Cheers for surviving the game unscathed!

I'm here, I'm here. Pomfrey's a nice woman, though she scolds you pretty bad if you don't do as she says.
