Matt and I sat down and picked a date for our wedding. After careful consideration of things like when I could get out of school, pricing, and other obligations that might interfere, we've chosen November 21, 2009. I have been dieting for 2 weeks now and have lost a total of 8 lbs. Woohoo, right? But here I sit on a Tuesday afternoon and instead of feeling happy that I'm making progress, I'm sad.

This was by far the best New Year's ever!

Matt and I stayed at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids. It's this fancy schmanzy 4 star hotel with all the amenities you could ever dream of, and if you paid for the room, you got access to all the parties that were going on in the hotel.
