Again AMV, a 400sub Celebration!
Click to viewThe other day, I noticed that I had finally reached 400 subscribers on my Youtube account (sparx615). A lot of other people do it, so I thought I'd make a video to celebrate my success as a video editor. If I counted correctly, I have made a total of 172 videos, though a lot of them are no longer available on my account due to copyright issues...
Anyway, I decided that Again - YUI would be the best song to use for this video. After all, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood just came out, and the fourth episode is even airing tomorrow... Since FMA is the anime that I use the most often (by far) for my videos, doesn't it make sense that I use the latest opening song for my special video? This was made using mostly clips from the original anime, though I snuck in a few Brotherhood clips for giggles. I hope that by the time 500 subs comes around, I'll be able to make a 'Ready Steady Go!' AMV with only Brotherhood clips.
If enough people like this, I'll make a subbed version. I'm pretty new to subbing, and I don't know Japanese, so I'm definately not the best... But I've been practicing, and I know how much some people like to see their favourite videos subbed for convenience. (On a similar note, I'd like to thank CsakuraS for her translation and transliteration; they helped me match the clips to the song. Thanks a bunch!)
