Santa was good to me. Maybe that's because he's not related to me, because my actual family members made me feel like absolute shit. What I want to know is why people who "love" you, say such hurtful things to you? Especially on Christmas? My small family made me feel so terrible that I was about to walk out on Christmas dinner

Last week, while visiting my family, all of whom have managed to lose weight while I struggle with my thyroid and Weight Watchers, my mother looked me up and down and asked, "you -are- still taking your thyroid medicine, right?"

Merry freakin Christmas.

And I transported two 550 pound men this weekend. Both needed tubes to breathe, and the one was having a MASSIVE heart attack. Trust me, if your boyfriend has a heart attack when he sees you in that, it's only because all of his blood gets diverted to another organ.

Fuck 'em, I mean, sure they can have their doubts about Roger, I know I did, but I trusted that you knew he was a great guy and when I met him I saw for myself that he was! So they shouldn't talk shit about him until they've met him and then make a fair judgment.

Family does suck. Big time. and yeah.......400 lb guy has a way greater chance of a heart attack....Roger looked healthy enough to me. You two seemed so happy together, too. Don't let their criticisms ruin that feeling. And try not to hate them too much. My family drives me nuts (literally)....I just ignore them a lot. If I'm gonna love them, sometimes I have to, lol....
