This one is long and took me forever to write. A few hours at least. But its done! =)
Enjoy! <3
Right now, in this current moment Yuya is my everything. My life line. The one person that is helping me cope with my problems. Despite said problems he sticks by my side, he helps me through them. I am very thankful to have Yuya in my life. I love him with all of my heart.
The damage Rai has done to me, that's going to take a long while to go away. She betrayed my trust in her, and I trusted her with everything, my life. It's shocking how easily trust can be broken between two people. Simple words, simple actions, hurtful words and hurtful actions.
After running into Kota and Yuya and calming down. Yuya took me to his room. He didn't want me going back to my room where Rai was. I didn't want to go back their anyway. Though I thought it was silly that he carried me all the way there. It was nice, Yuya is warm.
Once in his room though he put me down and went over to his luggage pulling out a a big shirt.
" I accidentally bought a large shirt, so you can wear it." Yuya handed it to me. I thanked him and then simply slipped the shirt on over my tankini. Yuya laughed and I stuck my tongue out at him playfully.
" Let's go eat something," He took my hand and I froze in place.
" Demo what if..." I was worried Rai might be out looking for me or something. I didn't want to see her, not yet.
" I'll order it, from room service, daijoubu," Yuya kissed my forehead and I relaxed some.
After a moment I hesitantly let my hand slip from his and moved over to his bed sitting on it indian style. I looked over at Yuya who seemed to be just staring at me, I couldn't help but blush.
“Kawaii..” I heard him say and I tilted my head curiously
“Nani?”
Yuya just smiled. “What do you want to eat?” he asked.
I thought for a long moment, and my mind went to two things. “Hmm... a hamburger and some fries.”
Yuya smiled more and chuckled some. “Okay.” he responded and shortly after picked up the phone and ordered the food.
We talked about random things as we waited for the food to arrive. It was nice spending time with Yuya. Despite what happened with Rai I had been having a lot of fun so far on the vacation. I've gotten to learn more about every body, and I felt even more accepted by Yuya's family.
Once the food arrived we ate, and it was delicious. It had to be the best hamburger I had ever had. The fries were really good too. I ended up sharing some with Yuya. After we ate we talked some more and watched a movie on the TV. Soon after that though it was time to go bed, and Yuya pulled out a futon for me.
" Here, the futon should be good. You're used to sleeping on one, right?" Yuya smirked.
"Hai," I nodded my head and smiled. I've only slept on one my whole life.
"Saa, we should sleep," Yuya smiled, and he playfully tucked me in before shutting the lights off.
"Oyasumi," Yuya yawned.
"Oyasumi..." I said back softly.
An hour of no sleep, I had been staring at the dark ceiling. The room was dark except for a faint light coming from the moon. That was when I began to think about Rai The grip. It was really painful. I had never seen Rai act like that before. It scared me. Suddenly I heard a shuffle from outside. It was just the palm trees swaying by the wind but it scared me. I hid under my covers and that’s when I really began to think about what had happened earlier. It scared me. The yelling the force. It damaged my trust in Rai.
A warm tear streamed down my face and I lazily wiped it away, but then more came, I couldn't stop them. Soon enough, I found my self crying. I used my blankets to muffle my crying, I didn't want to wake Yuya up. That sudden feeling of loneliness crept up on me. It wasn't long before that dark seas began to drag me under once more, panic began to set in. I closed my eyes and I tried to calm myself, but my nerves kept tensing up.
"Yuki, ssh..." I heard Yuya next to me, and then felt my covers move off me. Just hearing his voice brought me back to reality.
"Y-yuya," I was shaking from the fear, I opened my eyes to see Yuya frowning, it made me feel a bit guilty.
"Still scared? Daijoubu, I'm here for you," Yuya smirked. He took me in his arms, hugging me. I held on to him tightly not wanting to let go, I was already beginning to calm down. After a long moment of silence he wiped away my tears.
"Come," Yuya stood up, helping me stand as well. I had no clue what was going to happen next. I watched as Yuya walked over to his bed and slipped under the blankets. I looked at him a little confused at first.
" Let's cuddle," Yuya patted the empty spot next to him. I suddenly felt a bit nervous, and I hesitantly crawled under the covers with him. He put an arm around me hugging me as I cuddled up to him,.
"I'm always here for you. I love you," Yuya kissed my forehead. I nodded and could feel the warmth from him. It was calming. I cuddled up closer to him as he pulled me closer. I rested my head on his chest and I could hear his heart. It was going doki doki just like mine. I suddenly didn't feel as nervous.
" Arigatou...Yuuyan.." I closed my eyes and put and arm around Yuya. It wasn't long before I finally fell asleep. It was a nice peaceful sleep.
Usually I would have nightmares after something bad happened to me. But while in Yuya's arms, I didn't have any. I don't think I even dreamed. I do know that I woke up in Yuya's arms still. I'm not sure who woke up first, I think it was Yuya.
As soon as I opened my eyes I heard him speak softly.
“Ohayou..”
I let out a small yawn and cuddled up to him more. He was comfy and I didn't plan on moving anytime soon.
“Ohayou..” I responded in almost a whisper.
I felt him try to move from the bed and I pulled him closer. I put a leg over him to hold him there not caring if it seemed inappropriate, I was comfy and he wasn't allowed to go.
“Iie...stay..” I said softly and kissed his cheek.
“Demo...I need to use the toilet...” he pouted cutely.
“Iie...hold it...” I pouted right back, and pulled him closer if that was possible. But I couldn't stay serious. I ended up laughing some and moving my leg from him, letting him go.
“Arigatou..” he said before he quickly moved from the bed and to the restroom.
For some reason I felt really comfortable with Yuya, like I could be myself completely. Honestly once I'm out of my shell I'm not all shy and giggles. I like to play around, joke and the such. While Yuya was away I decided to take over the bed and rolled to the middle of it, taking up all the space.
I heard Yuya chuckle as he came back, I looked over at him and saw a note and card key in his hand. Curious I sat up giving space for Yuya to sit down next to me.
“It's from Rai.” he said handing me the note. I took it and read it
'This is Yuki's room key, she left it behind. I have decided to leave early. I need to take care of my own problems before I can fix things with Yuki.
Rai'
“Oh..” I was surprised. I didn't think she would leave. Though in the back of my mind I thought it was for the best. If Rai really had problems of her, I preferred she fixed those first. I wasn't ready to fix things with her, I wouldn't be for a long while.
“Ano, where did you find this?” I asked curiously
“On the floor, by the door. She slipped it under.”
I looked at the note once more reading it again and let out a long sigh. Leaning over I threw it away without a second thought. “I guess I can go back to my room. Only to change though.” I said and smiled at him.
I don't know what came over me, but suddenly I felt happy and I gave him this weird little smirk. Though it only got another 'Kawaii' out of him.
“Kawaii?” I questioned and then pounced as best I could at close range, my arms wrapping around him as I pushed him back on the bed.
Giggling I pinned him down and playfully nipped at his cheek. He had a surprised look on his face.
“Ah, kawaii~” I said and stuck my tongue out at him. He suddenly smirked and before I knew it he had rolled us over, him pinning me down instead. I blushed momentarily at the situation and then pouted.
“Not fair Yuuyan...You're stronger...”
“But you weren't fair, you caught me off guard.” he stuck his tongue out at me and I giggled.
Things went silent for a long moment and we stared into eachother's eyes. My heart was going doki doki all of a sudden and I think both Yuya and I blushed at the same time.
“Ne, Yuuyan. I need to go shower and change...” I said and leaned up giving him a quick kiss.
“Ah, hai...” he said sounding nervous. It concerned me a little. He then moved off me and I sat up and slipped off the bed standing up and stretching some. I watched as he stood up as well.
“Yuya, you didn't do anything wrong.” I said as I saw what looked like worry on his face. I took his hand and gently squeezed it smiling warmly up at him.
“Demo..” I stopped him by placing a finger on his lips. I then stepped closer and stoop on my tiptoes replacing my finger with my lips, kissing him gently. Once I felt him return the kiss I pulled away and smiled once more.
“It's just not time, Yuuyan.” I winked and grabbed my card key before heading toward the door. I felt unlike myself, but very like myself all at once. I mean I had never really opened up to anyone like this before. So I really didn't know my true self, though so far I like this new me.
“Wait, Yuki. I'll go with you. Just in case she didn't leave yet.” Yuya said and smiled.
“Okay...” I smiled back. I felt really happy, and full of energy. I loved Yuya and Yuya loved me. Everything felt right and even the future felt bright for once.
I watched as he reached for his wallet, without much thought I snatched it before he could and grinned hiding it behind my back.
“Aren't you going to get dressed?” I questioned as I looked him over, he was still in pajama pants and a t-shirt.
“Iie, I'll get dressed later, we are only going to your room..” he said and smirked some before he stepped towards me, his hands moving to try and get the wallet behind my back. I dodged those hands of his and took another step back before turning and quickly moving to the door. I opened it and stepped out glancing back to him following after me, his eyes on his wallet in my hand.
“Ano, you want this back?” I asked as I stepped further into the hall and held up the wallet, grinning.
“Hai, please..” he said trying to grab for it. I quickly moved it away and chuckled some.
“You'll have to catch me, ne?” and with that I took off running towards the elevators at the opposite end of the hall, laughing and giggling as I ran. I could hear Yuya chasing after me.
“Yuki!” he called after me, and I simply glanced over my shoulder for a moment. Though when I looked back in front of me, I saw that some one had stepped out of their room. I slowed down so as to not run into them.
Though slowing down only made it easy for Yuya to catch me. And he did before I could even apologize to the person I almost ran into. He picked me up with ease slinging me over his shoulder.
“Looks like I caught you.” he laughed and started towards the elevator, carrying me over his shoulder. I was still giggling a bit as he did so. As we moved away I recognized the person, it was Keito. He looked a little confused but also amused at the same time.
“Ohayou, Keito.” I said cheerfully with a smile and waved at him.
“Ohayou, Yuki.” He smiled and waved back, but followed us. He was headed to the elevator as well.
When we got into the elevator Yuya still had me over his shoulder and it was slightly awkward.
“Ne Yuuyan, can you put me down please?” I asked nicely having calmed down from the running and giggling.
“Oh, gomen.” he said and put me down, I smiled up at him and handed him his wallet.
He took it and kissed me on the forehead, and I couldn't help but blush because Keito was in the same elevator as us. We only had to go down two floors though. Once the doors opened on our floor we said goodbye to Keito and headed down the hall.
We stopped at my door and I used the card key to get in. I hesitated though before opening the door, feeling nervous.
“It's okay Yuki, I'm here for you.” he said softly in my ear and kissed my cheek. That was just the little boost I needed.
“Arigatou..” I said softly before I opened the door and stepped in. I walked more into the room finding it empty except for my belongings.
“I guess she really did leave.” I said and sighed as I sat down on my bed. “This might sound bad, Yuya. But I'm happy she is gone, I feel relieved. I mean I can enjoy the rest of our vacation, however short it maybe be, with out worrying about running into her. I really just want to forget what happened, though just for the remainder of our time here.” I said feeling a weight lift off my chest.
“I understand.” he said with a soft smile and sat down on a chair in the corner by my bed.
I smiled and stood up heading to the dresser. Seeing the remote to the TV I grabbed it and tossed it to him. “Might as well watch some TV while I shower.” I said and watched as he caught it.
“I will as soon as you're out of the way.” he teased. I pulled out what I was going to wear and stuck my tongue out at him before heading to the bathroom.
“Love you..” I heard him call out. I couldn't help but smile.
“Love you too..” I responded before shutting the door.
My shower wasn't nearly as quick as it should have been. I had to wash my hair, and as you know by now, that is fairly long, like past my butt long. Too long really. I dried off and dressed then started drying my hair with a towel. A few minutes later I got most the water from it, so it wouldn't drip anymore. Grabbing my dirty clothes I headed out and placed them in the separate bag I had for them.
I kept the towel though using it to try and dry my hair more. I looked up to see Yuya now sitting on my bed, flipping through the channels. He looked over and smiled warmly.
“My hair, it's too long..” I complained as I continued to dry it. “I might get it cut.” I added.
Yuya frowned some “You're beautiful with long hair.”
I looked at him for a moment, as I stopped drying my hair.
“Demo, you're beautiful no matter what length of hair you have.” he quickly added and smiled.
“Ha! Nice save, baka!” I said with a grin and went to hang the towel up.
I heard the TV flick off, and I peeked around the corner. Yuya was getting up and he grabbed my phone and wallet from the bedside table. Before heading over to me and handing them to me.
“Arigatou..” I said with a smile and kissed him on the cheek. I slipped on my shoes and we headed back out.
All we did was go back to his room, we ordered room service again for breakfast. It was delicious. I really didn't feel like doing too much, I was content on just hanging out with Yuya in his room. We watched a movie and played a game or two. Later on though Sara came and hung out with us.
We eventually ended up on the floor in front of the TV, eating chip and drinking water.
" You and Yuto?" Yuya looked at Sara.
" He said that he had feelings for me," Sara blushed.
" You realize that you're older than him?" Yuya looked at Sara, taking another chip
"I know but age doesn't really matter, it's what Yuto said. Besides, I think that Yuto's a nice mature guy," Sara smiled.
"Someone's in love," I teased Sara, some with a smile.
" With my brother," Yuya chuckled.
"Oi..."
" I don't mind. Just don't hurt him. I mean... he's still kind of you know..."
"What?" Sara scooted closer to Yuya.
"Hora, let me tell you."
"I'll be right back," I stood up and headed to the washroom. I felt like the conversation wasn't really my business, and it wasn't honestly.
Once in the washroom I stood there a moment, looking into the mirror. I looked myself over, noticing all the little changes here and there. All the changes had come after meeting Yuya. I dressed like a girl should, though occasionally I'd be caught in some boyish clothes but really they were comfy. My hair had gotten longer and I left it down more, or just pinned one side up with a cute hair pin. Right now it was just plain and down, just how it had dried. It needed a good brushing really.
My mind wandered a bit, and I couldn't help but think back some on the night before, cuddling with Yuya. And those words, he said he loved me, but then he also said it again today. Just the thought makes my heart go doki doki. I really love Yuya.
I caught myself blushing and looked away from the mirror for a moment. I then suddenly remembered something I had seen just the other day. With a fresh idea in mind I left the washroom to re join Yuya and Sara.
When I walked back into the room I saw them still talking and I listened in for a moment. I had no clue what they were talking about and really it was best that way. I quietly waited for the conversation to end before I said anything.
“Ne, Yuuyan I'm going to go for a walk. I need sometime to myself, to think a little.” I said a smiled warmly before moving over to him and leaning down kissing him on the forehead.
“Are you sure, Yuki?” he sounded concerned.
“Hai! I'll even take my cell phone with me.” I said as I held my phone up before slipping it into my pocket. I watched as his concerned look faded into a smile. “I won't be too long.” I said as I slipped on my shoes. I said good bye to Sara and headed out.
Within a few minutes I was down stairs. I headed out and browsed around the shops a bit, looking at some of the pretty jewelry in some of them, and clothes in others. It was a half hour later that she found the place she had been looking for.
It was a hair salon, and on the window there was a thing saying you could donate your hair for making wigs for children with cancer. It was the perfect plan really. Without a second thought I headed in, I had a short wait so I looked through the books of different hairstyles. Some were pretty while others weren't quiet as pretty. Some even looked outdated.
Once it was my turn I felt kind of nervous. I couldn't remember the last time I had gotten a hair cut, if ever really. The lady was a bit surprised when I told her I wanted to cut just below my shoulders, it was a lot of hair. I reassured her it was what I wanted, and that my hair was going to a good cause after all.
It was another half hour before I was finished in the salon. I thanked them and paid before leaving. My hair felt so much lighter, it felt much better too. I caught a glimpse of my hair in a mirror as I walked out and couldn't help but smile. I really liked the new look, it was cute yet still mature. I felt so much better with the shorter hair even thought it technically was still long, just not as long as it had been. With much of the weight gone my hair was a bit more wavy and had more volume to it. It would take some getting use to.
I didn't really browse on the way back, I just headed straight back to the room. I had been gone long enough and I didn't want Yuya to worry. Not having a card key I knocked on the door. A few moments Sara opened it her eyes widened for a moment and she smiled.
“Welcome back Yuki.” she said happily and headed back into the room. I followed slipping my shoes off.
I found Yuya sitting right where I had left him, the chips we had been eating were now gone. He looked up at me looking confused for a moment.
“Do you like it?” I grinned.
