Dude, I understand. We're not the closest of friends, but let me just say that loyal friends and someone to love are hard things to come by, and I wouldn't bet on finding either until you get out of HS, not really truly at least. But if those are the things that you really, in your heart, want, then stay true to yourself and your ideals and in the end you'll come out ahead, and if you don't, their loss, and you can at least say you were honorable and never betrayed your own beliefs.
