CHARACTER:
Name: Noki Einstellsehn (the last name's a guess, um.)
Age: 12 (though that's also a guess!)
Series: DOGS: Bullets and Carnage
Species: genetically altered human
Gender: female
Occupation: none
Point of canon to be drawn in: chapter 38
Preferred level: Elysium

Appearance: Usually it's said that it's important not to judge by appearance, but one glance at Noki makes a pretty accurate first impression- childlike, bright and sugary, and pretty unnerving. Pink and black are her signature colors (while her sister's are black and pink), and her clothing holds all the childish charm of a girlish little doll. She's most often seen in a one piece garment- a combination of a long-sleeved, hooded overcoat (the sleeves are exceptionally long, at that) and a minidress. It's very much rabbit-themed: the hood's adorned with floppy bunny ears, there's a ruff of black fur (to contrast the pink) at the neckline and the hems, and even the back of the dress has a puffy rabbit tail attached. That, with her striped stockings, white bloomers, and little pink boots, makes her seem as if she should be posing for a Lolita magazine. When she is dressed otherwise, she still keeps the theme of being the 'pink' twin, and rabbit motifs are also still common.

Her hair is short, a little past her chin in some places, playfully teal and ruffled. She has complete heterochromia (though this may be, and is likely, artificial)- her left eye is yellow; think of a cat's eye, pretty disconcerting, right? Her right eye's colored black, which, while normal, can still come off as creepy. The combination of the two colors is more than a little sinister, and that only gets worse when you see that the effect mirrors, rather than copies, her sister's.

She's a tiny child, short and stick-thin; Noki probably measures out at a good five feet, even, and while she likely looks to weigh around eighty pounds, her weapons and modifications probably put her higher on the scale.

Personality: There are three main parts to Noki. What she is, first and foremost, is a little girl- she likes frills and games and laughter, she wants to please her (so-called) mother, she's a little playfully competitive towards her sister and she likes to color.

Her second piece, however, is a stark contrast: she is a monster. Childishly cruel and sadistic, her girlish self revolves around fun, but the sugar-coated monster, dainty and giggling, finds the most fun thing to be easy, beautiful carnage. It really is child's play, to Noki, to slaughter the people around her, so of course she'd enjoy it, right?

The third part is a half- her other half, Luki, her twin sister and partner in crime slaughter fun. The two girls get on well together, and they seem to be very close; they're physically affectionate, and they do worry for each other, even if an injury won't last long. They have the Twin Mindlink trope going on for them- they speak in tandem, or play echo to each other. In their canon, they are never seen apart. There are few disctinctions between the two.

One of those distinctions is Noki's appetite. She seems to be the most commonly hungry of the two, and tends to use that as an excuse; "It isn't my fault! I was just a little bit hungry!" is how she tries to dismiss herself when facing her superior after having her artificial arm heavily damaged in a fight. That said, even when standing to those who keep her in their charge, she isn't a serious girl at all. She doesn't like being scolded, and she knows to come when she's called, but otherwise, she'll giggle, hide, or let her mind wander elsewhere when she's supposed to be relaying information. She hasn't quite made airhead status, but she's definitely not the sharpest child.

She finds joy easily; anything can be a game, for Noki, though the greatest games are usually lethal or at least very harmful. She'll laugh and laugh, let her mouth open up and her cheeks dimple. Or, if she's surprised, it'll show completely- she'll exclaim, her eyes will go wide. She's definitely a very expressive girl, even to the point of crying easily when she's disappointed with something. Her talents aren't many, but that doesn't seem to affect her much. She jumps around, plays games, and slaughters, and those are the things that keep her content.

The 'kawaisa' culture fits her to a T, really. She acts even younger than she looks, and she has a habit of speaking in a cute a way as possible- everything from childish slurs to silly nicknames, she'll cover it. Her sugary-sweet nature combined with her bloodlust really can be chilling.

Abilities: Noki is, essentially, a tykebomb; she was modified - biologically enhanced - at a young age, fitted with what's known as the 'Cerberus spine,' which gifts her to the point of seeming invulnerable. Her Achilles' heel is actually above her kneck; if her head's crushed or taken clean off, it negates the effect of the Cerberus spine, and she'll die. However, in any other case- if she's shot, she'll bleed, but suffer only momentary damage. Indeed, her only woes after being injured seem to be that her clothes have been ruined. She's quick and she's strong, and her regenerative abilities are completely inhuman.

Noki has skill with firearms- though, it may more accurately be said that she's skilled with firing wildly and eventually hitting her targets. Her right arm is another modification: though we don't canonically for sure, it appears as if that arm has the ability to reshape itself into a weapon of its own; it's a machinegun, apparently not limited on ammunition, and in simpler terms, it's basically just a Big Fucking Gun. Her oversived sleeves conceal this- when the gun is out, in place of her arm, it's longer even than the cloth of her sleeve, but she seems to weild it without any trouble, despite its size. That's not surprising, given the fact that she was trained, ever since her modification/creation, to be a killer. That said, she's also quick, athletic, and acrobatic. Her attention span and social skills, however, are lacking.

History: Very little is known about Noki's past- not only is she a minor character in the series, but she's of a group of people who have very shrouded pasts anyhow. What we do know is that when she was a young child, as all of the members of the experiment are shown to have started out young, she was taken to a facility under order of Angelica Einstellsehn. Einstellsehn seems to be a scientist driven by a love for war, and so, because of that, Noki was genetically altered to be more suited for the life of a killing machine, and raised by Einstellsehn and her underlings.

Years before this, Haine Rammsteiner - an experiment who was outstanding though unstable - had slaughtered every professor working on the program, and every child who was a part of it, excluding a young man called Giovanni. Because of this, we know that Noki is part of an entirely new wave of experiments. She, almost with her sister, also seem to be the only carriers of the Cerberus spine who have been modified elsewhere as well.

Noki, though she and Luki are often let out on their own to 'play,' are still under the care of the superiors working on the project.

False memories: Noki doesn't remember much, and she doesn't care to remember much. This is true for both her real past and her false memories; she was made and trained, and that's all there is to it. The facility she was 'raised' in still controls her, though she no longer lives on the premises. Her purpose is war, and she's learning to fulfill that through carnage. She's currently staying with Giovanni Rammsteiner, who is, because of the connection of being a test subject, her 'big brother.'

Sample journal posts: hiiiii! today i got to go out for a walk with luki and we saw a cat on the sidewalk it ran into the street and a car ran over it! we laughed and then we held hands and went to buy sodapop. the cat didn't make alot of noise because it was all crushed up pretty fast though. the sodapop was really good, it was strawberry and it's my favorite kind!

Sample role-playing post: [The sky is blue and the trees are green and there are children running around the playground, and Noki is laughing. She's on the swingset, and her thin legs are stretched out in front of her and the wind blows her skirt up. A boy was watching, because Noki is older than most of the small girls who are still unknowingly shameless- but he'd gotten too close in front of her and she'd kicked him in the face, the next time the swing went forward. Now he's on the ground with blood running down his face and sand in his hair. Noki is laughing.

That gets her in trouble with the kid's mother, of course. Noki blinks, makes a little 'fuuu?' sound, and then she laughs again, lets herself fly off the swing, and she bounds away. Getting the mother's head all over the place would've been fun, but there's no one who would laugh with her about it right now.

Later, she catches a lizard, pulls its little legs off and plays with it. It's not good company, so she doesn't keep it for long, though. It's too easy to get bored. Maybe she can go home and ask for a new coloring book.]
